Description
This GETC Qualification is a compulsory Schooling Programme that must be attended by
all Candidates seeking to access the new National Curriculum Statement. GETC
Certification which is achieved on completion of Grade 9 has been approved by the
Revised National Curriculum Statement (RNCS) of 2005.
Exit Level Outcomes
On completion of Grade 8, the Leaner will proceed to second year of the GETC Senior Phase or
Grade 9. No Certificate may be issued at this stage until the Senior Phase NQF L2 is completed.
